Your Booking Protection
Book with clear information about your financial protection. Through our relationship with Jamie Wake Travel, the following protections apply to eligible arrangements. We’ll explain what covers your booking before you pay.
PTS — Protected Trust Services
For applicable bookings, customer funds are handled through the Protected Trust Services trust-account system, separately from the travel business’s own funds. Payments are released in accordance with the scheme’s arrangements. We’ll explain how this applies to your booking before you pay.
SAFI — Scheduled Airline Failure Insurance
SAFI provides cover for eligible losses resulting from the financial failure of an insured scheduled airline. Cover depends on the airline, booking and policy terms, including limits and exclusions.
SFI — Supplier Failure Insurance
SFI provides cover for eligible losses resulting from the financial failure of specified insured travel suppliers. The suppliers and costs covered depend on the policy terms, limits and exclusions.
ATOL — Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing
ATOL provides financial protection for eligible flights and flight-inclusive holidays if the protecting ATOL holder ceases trading. For an ATOL-protected booking, you’ll receive an ATOL Certificate when your first payment is taken. It identifies the protecting business, its ATOL number and the services covered. Not all travel services are ATOL protected.
